We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, location), content you post (events, groups, props), and usage data (pages visited, features used).
2. How We Use Your Information
- Display your profile and activity to other users (subject to your privacy settings)
- Show you relevant events and groups near you
- Send notifications about events, RSVPs, and props
- Improve the Platform through aggregated, anonymized analytics
3. Your Privacy Controls
You control your privacy through your profile settings:
- Show last name publicly — whether your last name appears on your public profile
- Show RSVPs publicly — whether others can see events you've RSVP'd to
- Show activity publicly — whether your activity feed is visible
- Allow props — whether others can give you props
- Email notifications — granular control over what emails you receive
4. Private Venue Addresses
Addresses of private venues (homes, studios, etc.) are only shared with users who RSVP to events at that venue. They are never displayed publicly or indexed by search engines.
5. Location Data
We use your location to show nearby events. Location data is processed through Radar.io for geocoding. We do not track your location continuously — only when you explicitly search.
6. Data Retention
You can delete your account at any time. Account deletion anonymizes your personal information while preserving event and group records for historical integrity.
7. Third Parties
We use the following third-party services:
- Radar.io — geocoding and map tiles
- Cloudinary — image hosting
- Stripe — subscription payments (Advocate tier)
- Resend — transactional email delivery
